Prof Jan-Hinrik Meyer-Sahling

PhD Students

I have supervised PhD students since coming to Nottingham in 2004. My current PhD students have covered a wide range of topics including delegation and agency reform in the European Union, the Europeanisation of public administration and public policy in member states and non-member states, Europeanisation and foreign policy change, electoral reform in transition countries and corruption and public sector reform in Western Balkan states. See list of current and former PhD students below.

I welcome applications for the supervision of PhD students with interest in the comparative politics, public administration, public management and public policy in Europe Union countries (especially new member states) and its direct neighbourhood in the East (especially ENP countries) and South-East (especially Western Balkan and Turkey). I am also happy to supervise PhD students with interest in governance reform in South Asia. If you have any questions regarding potential PhD supervision, please do not hesitate to contact me.
